July is nearly over, meaning we're one step closer to the 2022 NFL season. The Green Bay Packers are, once again, expected to be one of the top teams in the league, leaving fans hoping that this is the year that they end their 11-season championship drought with help from a talented roster.

Pro Football Focus has recently added excitement for the upcoming campaign by releasing a list that looks at the top 50 players in 2022. Packers fans will be thrilled to know that their favorite team has a total of five players making the cut.

Packers 2022 Season

Unsurprisingly, reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers is the highest-ranked Packer, coming in at No. 3 on PFF's list. The 38-year-old gunslinger was up to his usual antics in 2021, throwing over 4,115 passing yards and 37 touchdowns to seven interceptions in 16 games. It'll be interesting to see if he can keep up the high level of play without Davante Adams.

The next Green Bay-based player on the list is Jaire Alexander at No. 23. Not only is Alexander viewed as a top-25 player despite injuries limiting him to four games last season, but the only cornerback on the list ranked higher than him is the Los Angeles Rams' Jalen Ramsey (No. 14).

Coming in right behind Alexander at No. 24 is offensive tackle David Bakhtiari, who also missed the majority of the 2021 campaign due to a torn ACL. Lastly, safety Adrian Amos ranks at No. 40 while linebacker Rashan Gary bookends Green Bay's entries at No. 49.

With so much high-end talent on the roster, it's understandable why Packers fans are hungry for more. Green Bay has yet to return to the Super Bowl since the 2010 campaign despiting playing in the NFC Championship Game in two of the last three seasons.
