Aaron Jones will be staying in Green Bay, at least for next season. Jones and the Packers agreed to a restructured contract that provides Jones an $11 million salary in 2023 and includes an $8.52 million signing bonus.

Aaron Jones Contract

There was some thought that Jones might be a cap casualty this offseason, but his agent Drew Rosenhaus got to work to make sure that didn't happen and now Jones will remain in Green Bay in 2023.

Jones has been a crucial part of the Packers' offense for years and continues to produce, even while now sharing the backfield with AJ Dillon.

While Jones only scored 2 touchdowns on the ground last season, he did log a career-high 1,121 rushing yards and also scored 5 touchdowns through the air. He is a versatile back who has proven he can be effective in both the rushing and passing game while handling a heavy workload if needed.

Still just 28 years old, Jones has some good years of football left. As long as Aaron Rodgers stays in town, Jones should earn his money and then some in 2023.
