The Atlanta Falcons have ruled out Julio Jones for their Week 5 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. That's an obvious boon to the fantasy football value of Russell Gage and Calvin Ridley.
If you're scrambling for another option thanks to the postponed games this week, that news also means that Olamide Zaccheaus is a viable sleeper option.
Olamide Zaccheaus Fantasy Football
This game has a lot of shootout potential, as indicated by the 2.5-point spread and 54-point over/under on FanDuel Sportsbook.
The Falcons are one of the league's most pass-heavy teams, throwing on 62.8 percent of their plays (No. 8 in the NFL), and Matt Ryan has the fourth-most attempts (167) of any passer. That has meant there's been enough volume for three wideouts to return fantasy value in ATL.
Zaccheaus has stepped up with Jones hurt in the last couple weeks, playing at least 75 percent of the team's offensive snaps in both Week 3 and 4.
That workload has translated to 15 targets (6 in Week 3 and 9 in Week 4). Calvin Ridley should play a bigger role than we saw last week when he was blanketed by Jaire Alexander, but Zaccheaus could still be in for enough work to stay relevant.
Plenty of fantasy managers are scrambling for sleepers as the chaotic scheduling changes add tons of uncertainty in Week 5, and Zaccheaus is a solid option if your leaguemates have left the waiver wire with limited options.
