The 2021 edition of The Game should be a great one. The cancellation of 2020's game has let animosity boil up for two years, and for the first time since 2016 both teams rank top-six for the matchup.

Less than a week out from kickoff, FanDuel Sportsbook has released opening betting odds and lines for the contest, and they're shockingly lopsided.

Ohio State comes in as an 8.5-point road favorite in this one. Playing on the road usually costs a team a couple points on the spread, suggesting that Vegas thinks the Buckeyes are probably better than the Wolverines by a margin of double-digit points.

When you look at recent results for the rivalry, it's hard to ague too much with that. Ohio State has won eight straight meetings, taking each of the last three by at least 11 points.

Michigan is absolutely rolling right now, winning their last three games by a combined margin of 109 to 42. Ohio State just obliterated Michigan State 56-7 in Week 11, however, and that's the same Spartans team that handed the Wolverines their only loss of the season.

Did the oddsmakers get this one right? We'll have to wait until Saturday to find out.
