Nyheim Hines has to be excited for his first season playing alongside the Indianapolis Colts' new signal-caller, Philip Rivers. And who wouldn't be? Rivers has been tearing up the league since he took over as the Chargers' starter back in 2006.

In fact, he's been so good for so long, that NC State named their Offensive Freshman of the Year award after him when he was there in 2000. Hilariously, it's an award that was actually presented to Hines back in 2015.

Hines took the photo, which the Colts' official Twitter account reposted.

It's good to see a potential bond brewing between the two, as Rivers has historically loved to target his running backs. Just last season, Ekeler racked up 92 receptions for 993 yards eight TDs. Given the recent comments by head coach Frank Reich, perhaps Hines could be headed for a similarly dominant campaign in 2020.
