Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban may be known for his tough exterior, but there's a reason he's regarded as one of the best, if not the best, coaches in college football history.
Saban is a true leader of young men and that was evident following Alabama's crushing National Championship loss to the Georgia Bulldogs. Sitting in the postgame press conference with his offensive and defensive leaders, Saban delivered a heart warming postgame speech about Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr.
Check out the video below.
Saban is quick to sing praises for two of his team captains, making sure that it's known both Young and Anderson are "not defined by one game." He then went on to explain how the two "contributed greatly to the success of [this] team."
Young and Anderson are both clearly touched by Saban's words, which held a lot of truth. Young took home the Heisman Trophy last month after putting together a brilliant sophomore campaign with 47 TDs to 7 INTs and 4,872 passing yards.
Anderson led the fierce Crimson Tide defense with 56 solo tackles, 31.0 tackles for loss and 17.5 sacks. As sophomores, both Anderson and Young will return to help Alabama's pursuit for a National Title in 2022.
