Fantasy football owners spend most of the late summer going over all the data points they can possibly find, studying every statistic, trend and angle that could possibly give them an edge to make the right pick come draft day.

One aspect, especially when it relates to quarterbacks, is strength of the defenses they will be facing throughout their schedule.

Below is a breakdown of all 32 teams based on that angle. The Los Angeles Rams and Jared Goff have the easiest strength of schedule (SOS) and Derek Carr and the Raiders have the most difficult SOS.

Carson Wentz, Tom Brady, Sam Darnold and Kyler Murray finish out the five easiest. While Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, Mitchell Trubisky and Deshaun Watson finish off the five most difficult.

While many fantasy analysts were worried Goff could regress this season, his SOS suggests otherwise. Mahomes, on the other hand, will face one of the toughest slate of opposing defenses in the league, and he was always going to have trouble replicating his wildly productive 2018 season.

You shouldn't base your entire draft around SOS, but its something to keep in mind come draft day.
