NFL MVP Odds View Lamar Jackson as Near Lock to Win
By Zach Brunner

What was once a race to win NFL MVP has essentially turned into one player jogging around the bases after a home run, with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson being an essential lock to win the award, at -20000 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
To all of my supporters thank you so much for the outpouring of love you all have shown. My sincere apologies for any delays, due to the holiday season. We have worked diligently to ensure that all orders have been packaged and shipped.

After setting the Baltimore Ravens franchise record for passing touchdowns in a season in Week 16, Jackson essentially had the award wrapped up, as the Ravens had the top overall seed in the AFC also locked in.
This led to Jackson (among other Ravens starters) resting in Week 17, bringing his regular season to a close with 3,127 yards and 36 touchdowns through the air and another 1,206 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. Jackson has been electric all season long, and he's clearly been the most valuable player in the league, with the entire Ravens offense running through him en route to a No. 1 seed finish in the AFC.
Lamar Jackson has thrown 23 TDs against the blitz in 2019.

After Jackson, there is a steep drop-off in NFL MVP odds. Russell Wilson and Patrick Mahomes are tied behind him, at +4000, followed by Deshaun Watson and Kirk Cousins, at +10000.
An early congratulations are in order for Jackson and for those who bet on him at the beginning of the season, as his opening odds to win the NFL MVP award were a very profitable +6500.
