New Info Emerges on Jonah Williams' Trade Request

The offseason has brought a shakeup to the Cincinnati Bengals' offensive line. Super Bowl champion Orlando Brown Jr. is in, but now former first-round pick Jonah Williams wants out after losing the starting left tackle spot.
As Williams remains in Cincinnati, new details have emerged on his pending exit.
New on the Jonah Williams trade request:

The #Bengals didn’t communicate with Jonah before they were planning to sign Orlando Brown. He was blindsided. The team didn’t tell him ahead of time they were thinking of moving him to RT, a source close to the situation tells me
Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports Williams wasn't informed about the team's pursuit of Brown, which left him feeling "blindsided." He also didn't know the Bengals were weighing a decision to move him from left tackle, where he's played since being drafted No. 11 overall in 2019.
It certainly sounds like there's some hard feelings on Williams' side following Cincy's addition of Brown. Obviously being replaced is a tough pill to swallow, and it'd be difficult for anyone to be happy about a surprise change of position.
Williams didn't exactly help his case in 2022, though. He earned a dismal 61.2 overall grade from ProFootballFocus, the lowest of his career. The third-year pro also tied for the league lead with 12 sacks allowed, making him a liability to his quarterback (who already has a major injury in his history).
This information coming out is likely Williams' reps trying to expedite the process of finding him a new home. Luckily there appears to be multiple suitors involved, so Cincinnati should be able to net a nice return from a deal.
