The Memphis Grizzlies have made major strides this season, and Ja Morant's improved play in his third season has been a big reason for the Grizzlies climb to first place in the Southwest Division. Morant is among the league leaders in scoring at 26.8 points per game, and his rise to favorite to win Most Improved player also has him in the MVP conversation.

Morant's Most Improved Player odds went from +320 at the start of the year to the dominant favorite, currently -420. The star point guard is playing at a near MVP level and remains odds-on favorite for MIP. Morant scored 30 or more points in seven straight games to close January, and added 44 points the game before the All-Star break.

Miles Bridges has scored above his 20.0 points per game average in five of his last six games before the All-Star break, including 29 and 28 points in his last two contests. Bridges was leading the Most Improved Player race at the end of 2021, but he's fallen alongside Darius Garland with Morant taking over.

Here's how the Most Improved Player odds currently stand on FanDuel Sportsbook.
