Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Wednesday, 4/28, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA

Nikola Jokic Fantasy

Target Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets ($11,100): Nikola Jokic is an MVP frontrunner thanks to his do-it-all play for the Denver Nuggets. Jokic is averaging 54.7 FanDuel fantasy points per game while putting up 25.9 points, 10.9 rebounds and 8.6 assists per contest this season. He gets a great matchup in the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday to keep the good times rolling. New Orleans gives up the fifth-most PPG (114.9), which should put Joker in position to feast. The Pelicans are normally a strong rebounding team, but Steven Adams could be out after a toe injury sidelined him last game. That potentially removes (or limits) an imposing force in the paint and bodes extremely well for Jokic's rebounding production tonight.

Chris Paul Fantasy

Target Chris Paul, PG, Phoenix Suns ($8,200): Chris Paul is thriving as the Phoenix Suns' floor general, especially as of late. He's outpaced his his fantasy PPG average of 37.5 in five of his last seven outings with solid production across the board. He's also hitting an impressive 51.0% of his fields goals and 46.9% of his 3-point shots during that stretch. Paul's hot shooting only adds to his fantasy potential given his nightly rebounding and assist numbers. Now he faces a Los Angeles Clippers team that is severely short-staffed due to injuries to Patrick Beverley, Kawhi Leonard and Serge Ibaka. It's hard to see CP3 struggling against a shorthanded opponent and given his recent play.

Jordan Clarkson Fantasy

Target Jordan Clarkson, SG, Utah Jazz ($6,300): The Utah Jazz were already without Donovan Mitchell, and now point guard Mike Conley is out Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings. That directly boosts Jordan Clarkson's fantasy outlook tonight. He's put up 28 or more fantasy points in each of his last six games, buoyed by his scoring (19.5 PPG) while stepping up his rebounding (4.5 RPG) and assist (3.5 APG) numbers. The absence of Mitchell and Conley not only leaves shots for the shoot-first guard, but playmaking opportunities as well. Clarkson should succeed in both facets against the Sacramento Kings, who allow the league's most PPG (118.7) to opponents this season.

Joel Embiid Fantasy

Avoid Joel Embiid, C, Philadelphia 76ers ($10,500): Playing on one of the East's best squads can sometimes hurt Joel Embiid's fantasy production. This was the case last outing, when he registered just 35.5 fantasy points in a blowout of the lowly Oklahoma City Thunder. He's a huge blowout risk again tonight. The Philadelphia 76ers draw the Atlanta Hawks, who are without several key contributors due to injuries and were just dismantled 100-86 against the bottom-feeding Detroit Pistons. It's possible the 76ers make quick work of Atlanta and Embiid gets the night off early, so best to avoid him on Wednesday.

Julius Randle Fantasy

Avoid Julius Randle, PF, New York Knicks ($9,900): Julius Randle isn't immune to the occasional off night when facing tough competition. He only managed 31.2 fantasy points in his last game against the Phoenix Suns, registering a meager 6 rebounds against one of the league's best rebounding teams. Well the Chicago Bulls won't make things any easier. Chicago gives up the third-fewest RPG (48.5) and ranks in the middle of the pack for PPG (112.6). Facing a rebound magnet in Nikola Vucevic, it'd be no surprise to see Randle's numbers on the boards slip and him fail to live up to his price tag.
