NBA DFS 3/25/2022

Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Friday, 3/25, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 3/25

Donovan Mitchell Fantasy

Target Donovan Mitchell, SG/PG, Utah Jazz ($8,500): Sliding Donovan Mitchell into your lineup for a price tag under $9,000 seems cheap here. The Jazz are set to face a Charlotte Hornets team tonight that plays at the fourth-fastest pace in the NBA despite owning the eighth-worst defensive efficiency mark. There will be a ton of opportunities for Mitchell to score and he has been taking over due to the absence of Bojan Bogdanovic. The 25-year-old has taken at least 21 shots in each of his last seven games, while averaging 31.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists during that span. There's no reason to stop trusting Mitchell now.

Tyrese Maxey Fantasy

Target Tyrese Maxey, PG, SG, Philadelphia 76ers ($6,200): Joel Embiid and James Harden are dominating the court for Philadelphia, but don't overlook Tyrese Maxey as a reliable fantasy option. The second-year pro has put together back-to-back games with at least 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. He has a perfect chance to keep his success going on Friday night against an LA Clippers defense that is allowing an opponent shooting percentage of 49.4% over their last three games. Maxey is a threat to score the ball on every trip down the court given his ability to both shoot the long ball (41.7% three-point percentage) or drive the ball to the rim with confidence.

Drew Eubanks Fantasy

Target Drew Eubanks, C/PF, Portland Trail Blazers ($6,100): It's very likely that Drew Eubanks is going to keep being featured as a start recommendation assuming his price tag remains affordable. The fourth-year pro is playing with nothing to lose and seeing 29.9 minutes of action per night in March. Eubanks draws a great matchup on Friday night against the Houston Rockets, who are giving up the most fantasy points to opposing centers. Houston also allows the most points in the paint per game in the NBA (52.5). Eubanks is averaging 16.1 points and 8.9 rebounds over his last seven games. That level of production is not found very often at this cost.

RJ Barrett Fantasy

Avoid RJ Barrett, SF/SG, New York Knicks ($7,800): This is a tough one. RJ Barrett is coming off of back-to-back 30-point games and is the leader of a Knicks team without Julius Randle. He runs into a horrible matchup tonight, though. The Heat own the fourth-best defensive efficiency mark in the NBA and allow just 104.7 points per game at home this season (No. 5 in NBA). Miami also allows the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing small forwards. Bam Adebayo has been amazing at guarding the rim and a fired up Jimmy Butler has been shutting down the perimeter with ease. Avoid Barrett for this one time and look elsewhere at SF.

Clint Capela Fantasy

Avoid Clint Capela, C, Atlanta Hawks ($6,100): Yikes, talk about a rough stretch. Clint Capela has scored a combined 3 points over his last two games (1-of-6 shooting) to go along with 15 rebounds. It's not going to get any easier on Friday night, either. Capela is set to go up against a Warriors defense that allows just 43.5 points in the paint per game (No. 5 in NBA). Kevon Looney has developed into a fantastic rim defender and the return of Draymond Green certainly isn't going to make things any better. Fade Capela in this spot against one of the best all-around defensive teams in the league (third-best defensive efficiency mark).
