The Super Bowl national anthem time makes for one of the most entertaining — and popular — prop bets every year. Between the anthem time and the coin toss, some serious money changes hands before the Super Bowl even kicks off.

How Long Was the National Anthem?

The national anthem for Super Bowl 54 checked in at 1 minute and 50 seconds. This came in significantly under the over/under of 2 minutes that most sportsbooks were listing.

The anthem came in at over 2 minutes in six of the last 11 Super Bowls, with the shortest time in that stretch being Kelly Clarkson's 1:34, and the longest being Alicia Keys' 2:35.

Who Sang the National Anthem?

Demi Lovato sang the national anthem at Super Bowl LIV, just one week after performing live at the 2020 Grammy Awards. Lovato followed Yolanda Adams, who sang "America the Beautiful."

Lovato's Super Bowl LIV time of 1:50 was significantly shorter to the 2:11 she took the last time she performed it at a major sporting event, for the Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather boxing match in 2018.
