The Pittsburgh Steelers have dropped back-to-back games following their Week 1 win and criticism continues to pour in about their offensive struggles. Running back Najee Harris made it a point to defend what the team has going on that side of the ball when asked about the offensive struggles.

Check out video of his passionate defense below.

Pittsburgh Steelers News

Harris began with a comment about how the offensive line is doing its job in terms of opening holes in the rushing attack. He simply needs to trust them more in his decisions. Pittsburgh is only averaging 90.0 yards on the ground per game so far (No. 23 in NFL).

It was how Harris expanded on another question that should intrigue Steelers fans the most, though. The second-year pro was asked about the disapproval of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and OC Matt Canada on social media. His answer focused on sticking together and controlling what is controllable.

Harris mentioned that him and his teammates are comfortable where they are at and letting outside distractions get their heads would ruin that. Seeing the offensive captain follow in head coach Mike Tomlin's footsteps with his own attempt to "shut out the noise" shows the passion Harris possesses.

Of course, the Steelers are hoping they can improve on the fact that they average only 272.7 yards (No. 31 in NFL) and 18.0 points (No. 19 in NFL) per game. They'll have a prime opportunity to do just that in a Week 4 matchup against a New York Jets team searching for answers on defense as of late.
