Monday Night Football Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Giants vs Chiefs

Monday Night Football Fantasy
Week 8 of the NFL season concludes with a matchup between the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Chiefs as 10.5-point favorites, which suggests New York may be playing from behind.
MNF Fantasy Picks
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 8 showdown.
Daniel Jones Fantasy
Start Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants: Daniel Jones was a top waiver wire target this week for a reason. He's capable of big outings, as evidenced by his current rank as QB15. He's also facing a Chiefs defense giving up the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Jones will have plenty of chances to make plays through the air and on the ground against a KC unit that ranks No. 31 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric.
Darrel Williams Fantasy
Start Darrel Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs: Darrel Williams is in an attractive position as the team's No. 1 running back once again. He showcased what he's capable of in that role in Week 6, when he broke out for 23.9 PPR points thanks to 2 total TDs. His Week 7 was a clunker (8.0 PPR points), but he has a golden bounce-back opportunity on Monday. The Giants have allowed the ninth-most PPR points to running backs (25.63) this season. The Chiefs are also slated to dominate as 10.5-point favorites, meaning Williams could see plenty of work if Kansas City is preserving a lead throughout.
Kadarius Toney Fantasy
Sit Kadarius Toney, WR, New York Giants: Kadarius Toney is a risky play worth avoiding on Monday. He's officially questionable for this matchup with an ankle injury that has bothered him in practice all week. The last time Toney suited up after ankle issues, he had to exit Week 6 after just six snaps. He's explosive when healthy, but there's a good chance Toney fails to deliver for managers if he does suit up.
Mecole Hardman Fantasy
Sit Mecole Hardman, WR, Kansas City Chiefs: Mecole Hardman is another wideout too hard to trust in Week 8. Hardman posted a season-high 16.6 PPR points in Week 5, but has totaled just 13.6 fantasy points over the last two games. The Giants' secondary ranks in the middle of the pack in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric, which means they're no pushover. It's hard to see Hardman thriving behind Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, especially in a game where Kansas City may abandon the passing game early to protect a big lead.
