It's safe to say the weather has already taken its toll on the Saturday slate of MLB games.
Initially scheduled for April 20, Saturday's matchup between the Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers has has been postponed to an Aug. 6 makeup date, due to inclement weather.
However, there's plenty of baseball being played across the country this Saturday, including games in much more desirable weather. The Houston Astros take on the Texas Rangers with clear skies in Dallas and some moderate wind.
Saturday also has some stronger winds blowing through a number of stadiums. Tonight's 8:10 p.m. EST matchup between the Philadelphia Phillies and Colorado Rockies could see some winds as fast as 8-12 mph rolling through Denver by the top of the first inning.
The Oakland Athletics host the Toronto Blue Jays for a 4:07 p.m. EST first pitch, but the Bay Area is expecting some very powerful winds to sweep through today's game.
When it comes to baseball, especially betting on baseball, it never hurts to keep an eye out for how inclement weather or windier forecasts can impact the outcome of certain matchups. So before laying down your money, make sure to consider all the info above.
