Vikings Being Disrespected By Odds to Win Super Bowl 56

As Super Bowl LV approaches on Sunday, fans are already looking ahead to next season. Super Bowl LVI's odds are out, and the Minnesota Vikings are being disrespected when it comes to their chances to take home the Lombardi trophy next year.
Vikings Super Bowl Odds
Eighteen teams have lower odds than the Vikings (+4400) to win the Super Bowl next season, according to NFL futures set at FanDuel Sportsbook. Teams with lower odds and less upside include the New England Patriots (+3700), Dallas Cowboys (+3300) and New Orleans Saints (+1900).
The Vikings managed just seven wins in 2020, but the fall off from 10 wins and a playoff win the previous year was mostly due to significant player personnel changes and defections on defense. The Vikings also played without top linebacker Eric Kendricks for much of the second half of the season.
Minnesota’s defense will hopefully bounce back in 2021, and the offense was one of the most productive units in the league in 2020.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins was efficient, directing a Vikings offense that finished fourth in total yards per game (393) and yards per play (6.2). Running back Dalvin Cook (1,557 yards) was unfazed as the team's workhorse back, and sensational rookie Justin Jefferson finished No. 4 in the NFL with 1,400 receiving yards on 88 catches.
Minnesota is being disrespected in their Super Bowl odds and could become a sweet surprise as the season starts up again.
