Treylon Burks came into this season with high hopes and expectations. Drafted as the rookie poised to replace AJ Brown in the Titans' offense, things did not get off to a great start. Between training camp struggles, injuries, and some trouble getting things going on the field, Burks struggled out of the gate.
However, the second half of the season has brought about some great signs from Burks that have his future once again looking bright.
Though he has dealt with some additional injuries of late, Burks is looking like he will suit up in Week 18, with head coach Mike Vrabel saying he thinks Burks will be ok with his groin injury, despite him being held out of practice on Thursday.
Burks failed to eclipse 25 receiving yards in three of his first five games, and topped out at 55. In his last five games, Burks has topped that 25-yard make four times and has topped out at 111 yards, which he had in Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers.
The Titans head into a crucial Week 18 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with the winner coming away as AFC South champ and heading toward the playoffs. Tennessee is a 6.5-point road underdog, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
