Mike Evans Injury Update Threatens to Crush Fantasy Football Outlook in Week 12

Fantasy managers riding high on Mike Evans' recent run of dominance could be put in a tough spot in Week 12.
Fantasy football's WR9 in per-game PPR scoring has been sidelined at practice all week with a back issue, and missing Thursday's practice is not a good sign for his availability in Week 12.

Mike Evans Injury Update
Friday's walkthrough will still give Evans a chance to trend toward a return if he's even listed as a limited participant, it's hard to imagine he'll be anything better than a game-time decision at this point. And that's looking like the best case scenario.
Mike Evans Fantasy
Evans has been a fantasy football monster of late. Even when his volume was down (7 combined targets in Weeks 8 and 10) he found the end zone to return big fantasy value. And when his volume has been high (10 targets in Week 7, 11 in Week 11) he has exploded for games of 31.6 and 19.3 fantasy points.
If Evans joins Antonio Brown on the shelf, Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski will be locked in as top fantasy options at their positions.
Tyler Johnson and Breshad Perriman Fantasy
Tyler Johnson has already seen his role expand with Antonio Brown on the shelf, playing 57 snaps last week, and he should be in for even more looks if Evans can't play. Breshad Perriman would also be in for some increased work on the outside. He played only 18 snaps last week, but did see 4 targets. He'd offer some boom-or-bust fantasy upside in that scenario.
