The gap between Michael Thomas and the rest of the wide receiver position is massive. He's one of the highest scoring players in the league and he's also as consistent as it gets. Coming off a record-breaking 2019 season, there's no reason to believe he'll slowdown now.

Thomas should be in for back-to-back WR1 seasons in fantasy football.

Michael Thomas Fantasy Football Outlook

Thomas currently has an average draft position (ADP) of WR1 (No. 4 overall). That's a high price to pay for a WR, but he's worth it – particularly in PPR formats.

The 27-year-old scored 374.6 points in PPR leagues, outpacing the second-place WR (Chris Godwin) by 98.5 points. For reference, that's about the same as the gap between Godwin and WR35 Larry Fitzgerald. That's absolutely outrageous.

Thomas also is an iron man, having played 63-of-64 games, so he's not an injury risk. He's locked in as one of the safest players in fantasy, and we have him as the WR1 (No. 6 overall) in our 2020 fantasy football rankings.
