What ended up being a pair of Game 7 blowout wins on Sunday has caused the NBA Finals odds to go through a massive shakeup. The Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks are right back into the thick of things heading into the Conference Finals, but a clear favorite remains up top.
NBA Finals Odds
The Warriors have the best odds to win the NBA Championship at +125, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. These odds stood at +220 prior to Golden State's series-clinching Game 6 against the Memphis Grizzlies and have seen a slight bump since the No. 1 seeded Phoenix Suns went down.
Meanwhile, the Mavericks saw their odds skyrocket after an exhilarating Game 7 win. Dallas checked in with odds set at +2100 to win it all prior to Sunday's action and now those odds are at +700. Keep in mind they are the lowest seed left in the playoffs and have the lowest odds left in the field.
The Celtics went through a very similar scenario as they pulled off a massive home win in Game 7 against the Milwaukee Bucks. Their odds sat at +430 before that victory and now rank second behind the Warriors at +210. Boston is creeping up after taking down two of the toughest teams in the East.
Miami was the only team to stay relatively the same despite taking care of business against the Philadelphia 76ers in six games. The Heat had odds set at +550 before they clinched the series and those odds now sit at +420. A win in Game 1 on Tuesday would obviously change things, though.
With only two rounds left in the postseason, these odds are surely going to be changing with each passing game. Keep an eye on that movement over the next two weeks.
