Marquise "Hollywood" Brown had one of the best rookie debuts in NFL history, much to the Baltimore Ravens and fantasy owners' delight. However, as dominant as his fantasy performance was in Week 1, the rookie wideout's fantasy outlook may not be as positive as people are making it out to be.
Brown finished the day with a four receptions for 147 yards receiving and two touchdowns, but how he put up that stat line could point to a regression in the coming weeks. The 22-year-old burner played just 14 snaps and saw only five targets against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1.
Additionally, the rookie amassed 130 of his 147 yards and both of his touchdowns on a 47-yard and an 83-yard score in the first quarter. That's clearly impressive, but it's also unsustainable.
The Ravens had one of the easiest matchups of Week 1 and it's unlikely that the rest of their opponents are as susceptible to the deep pass as the Dolphins were Sunday afternoon.
That being said, Brown is looking more like a boom-bust flier at this point in the season. He's certainly worth a speculative add, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect consistent week-to-week production from the Ravens' speedster.
