They say it's tougher to stay on top than it is to get there, and that is exactly what the LSU Tigers will be dealing with this season. As the reigning College Football Playoff National Champions, the Tigers are the team to beat, with everyone likely circling their matchup against LSU on the 2020 schedule.

While 2019 Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow is gone, Myles Brennan is expected to start at quarterback. He will also have an absolute star in Ja'Marr Chase to pass to, so the offense should continue to be solid for LSU.

With the hopes of staying on top and repeating as the champs, they will need to overcome these three challenges this season. The lines provided can be found on FanDuel Sportsbook.

It's never easy to escape College Station with a win, which likely a large reason why the Texas A&M Aggies are the slight favorite here, despite rather evenly-matched rosters on paper heading into 2020. For head coach Jimbo Fisher, this is his third season leading this team, meaning we should begin seeing his impact, especially after a top-10 recruiting class. Still, the Aggies are just 1-7 against top-10 teams under Fisher, which is a record they are hoping to improve this season.

2. Week 6: LSU (+3) @ No. 5 Florida – Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020

In another tough road test for the Tigers, they must go to Gainesville to face a formidable Florida Gators squad. The Gators have enjoyed back-to-back double-digit-win seasons under coach Dan Mullen, and they look poised to make it three in a row in 2020 too.

Despite being at home in this one, facing an Alabama Crimson Tide team out for revenge will likely prove the toughest test. Last season, we remember the shootout that took place in Tuscaloosa, with Burrow and LSU winning 46-41. If it turns into another track meet, do the Tigers have the weapons to keep up with the Tide once again this season?
