LeBron James Reveals Seahawks' Interest in Him During 2011 NBA Lockout

Every sports fan in the world knows that LeBron James is a generational athlete and star on the basketball court. However, some might not be aware that James had serious interest in playing in the NFL during the 2011 NBA lockout.
It turns out the Dallas Cowboys, James' favorite team, weren't the only ones who approached the 6-foot-9 forward in 2011.
"I still got the jersey too, that Jerry [Jones] and Pete Carroll sent me from 2011."

James revealed during the Monday Night Football broadcast that Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll also offered him a contract during the lockout.
It's a fascinating what-if, especially considering James was an all-state receiver in high school. However, the NFL interest didn't ultimately turn into anything, and James went on to lead the Miami Heat to an NBA title when the lockout was resolved.
It's worth wondering if James could've helped Seattle finish better than 7-9 that year. Pairing two physical freaks like James and Marshawn Lynch on the 2011 Seahawks would've been a sight to see, that's for sure.
