The first weekend of the 2019 NBA Playoffs was highlighted by dominant victories and surprising upsets. Naturally, it only makes sense that there was a significant shake up in the latest 2019 NBA Finals odds.

The Houston Rockets (+1100) and Boston Celtics (+1700) have seen their championship odds increase in the latest 2019 NBA Finals odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The Golden State Warriors (-210), however, remain overwhelming favorites to win the Naismith Trophy.

The Celtics and the Rockets' rise in odds is well-deserved after convincing Game 1 victories. Boston put together a defensive masterpiece against the Indiana Pacers (+24000), holding them to just 74 points. Houston, on the other hand, lit up the scoreboard against the Utah Jazz (+6500), crushing their opponent by a 122-90 score.

Two contenders, however, that have seen a notable slide in their title odds thanks to surprising upset losses are the Toronto Raptors (+1400) and the Philadelphia 76ers (+2600).

The Sixers tied up their series against the Nets on Monday and the Raptors look to get back to their winning ways today. But as for the odds to win the title, the Warriors are on top with the Bucks (+600) their biggest competitors.
