Lamar Jackson has missed two consecutive practices due to a mysterious knee injury. We don't have much concrete information on the knee as of now (as we're not even sure when the injury was suffered) but this is worrying for his fantasy managers.

Though it seems like he'll be active on Sunday, this is clearly a situation to monitor.

Lamar Jackson Fantasy Outlook

Purely from a fantasy football perspective, Jackson has gotten off to a bit of a slow start in 2020. He's currently fantasy's QB8, trailing QB6 Aaron Rodgers by about 18.8 points.

He was positioned for a get-right game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, but this injury certainly throws a wrench into things. Fantasy managers will need to have a backup plan ready in case Jackson is inactive this weekend. Thankfully there are plenty of great streaming options available this week.

If Jackson can't suit up, Robert Griffin III would start in his place. That would result in a significant downgrade for Baltimore's skill-position players – though RG3 would offer some potential upside as a streaming option.

Most signs point to Jackson's absence from practice being precautionary, but he's definitely not a surefire bet to be out there against Cincinnati.
