Florida quarterback Kyle Trask is seemingly rising up big boards as the 2021 NFL Draft approaches at the end of the month. There's speculation that Trask could even be a first-round pick, potentially being the sixth QB taken in the first 32 picks after Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Trey Lance and Mac Jones.

Teams may scoop up Trask near the end of the first round and get a jump on those hoping to select him on Day 2. With that in mind, here are three likely teams that could make Trask a first-round pick.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 32)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are riding high after re-signing most of the key players from their Super Bowl-winning squad last season. In fact, they'll return all 22 starters from that team, priming them for another championship run. That means they have the luxury to take risks with their No. 32 pick without many true needs on the roster. Trask may be worth taking a flier on as a possible Tom Brady successor to close out the first round. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound quarterback is the kind of big-body mold that teams love under center. There are worse ways to spend a first-round pick than on a quarterback who just finished fourth in Heisman Trophy voting.

2. Chicago Bears (No. 20)

The Chicago Bears need to find a long-term solution at quarterback after signing Andy Dalton to a one-year deal and letting Mitchell Trubisky walk in free agency. Chicago is in a great spot at 20 to select Trask if they think he's their guy. The former Gator QB racked up 4,283 yards and 43 TDs while throwing just 8 INTs as a senior last season. He could compete for the starting job with Dalton and Nick Foles, or serve as backup for the 2021 campaign and soak in what he can from those veterans before taking over the reigns. Chicago was aggressive in pursuing trades for Carson Wentz and Russell Wilson, and they could take a similar approach in the draft with Trask's stock rising.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 24)

Ben Roethlisberger's clear decline in 2020 made it apparent the Pittsburgh Steelers need to start thinking about a successor. Roethlisberger is back in the fold for the 2021 campaign, but nabbing a talented young QB to sit behind him for a season would be a smart move. Trask did serious damage with NFL-ready talents like Kyle Pitts and Kadarius Toney at Florida, so it's mouth-watering to think about his potential leading an offense with JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool and Eric Ebron. Najee Harris is a popular first-round target for the Steelers, but running back production can be found on Day 2 and beyond. Pittsburgh may not be lucky enough to nab a top QB like Trask this late again in the future.
