The Toronto Raptors are going to be pretty shorthanded for Wednesday’s matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

They were already without DeAndre Bembry, Paul Watson, Patrick McCaw, and Jalen Harris, and now they’ve officially ruled out Kyle Lowry with a right toe infection. Lowry is obviously the biggest name of that group, and his absence will open up minutes and usage for the rest of the roster.

Fred VanVleet stands out as one of the primary beneficiaries. He’s increased his usage rate by a team-high 3.6 percentage points with Lowry off the court this season, and he’s also increased his assist rate by 4.0 percentage points. Overall, he’s averaged 1.09 FanDuel points per minute in that situation, and he has the potential to play more than 40 minutes Wednesday against the Thunder.

Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby should also see all the minutes they can handle, while Aron Baynes will likely replace Lowry in the starting lineup.

The Raptors are currently listed as 7.5-point road favorites over the Thunder on FanDuel Sportsbook.
