It's not often fans of a team mourn the loss of a kicker, but it's not often kickers make the kind of impact that Greg Zuerlein did with the St. Louis and Los Angeles Rams.

Greg the Leg is one of only seven players in the NFL to make at least 200 field goals since 2012 (when he was drafted), while also making the third-most of at least 50 yards (48) in that time. Where Legatron really endeared himself, though, was in his ability to crush especially deep kicks. Since 2012 he has made a league-best 13 field goals of at least 55 yards, with two of those coming from 60-plus.

Zuerlein has signed with the Dallas Cowboys in free agency, so here are three kickers the Rams should consider bringing in for the 2020 season to fill their new void at kicker.

1. Nick Folk

Nick Folk played seven games for the New England Patriots in 2019 after not playing a single game in 2018. He looked great in that limited sample, hitting 14 of 17 field goal attempts. That 82.4 percent accuracy beat his 80.4 percent career average, and he also went a perfect 12-of-12 on extra points. At 35 years old, Folks should still have a few strong seasons left in the tank.

2. Ryan Succop

Ryan Succop spent most of the 2019 season on injured reserve, and he went an egregious 1-of-6 on field goals when he returned. A terrible six-kick sample isn't enough to write him off entirely, though. That cold stretch came after he made 86.6 percent of his kicks across his first five years with the Tennessee Titans, and at 33 years old it's not likely he's suddenly seen his talent fall off a cliff.

3. Stephen Gostkowski

The other high-profile kicker on the market this offseason, Stephen Gostkowski landed on injured reserve and missed most of the 2019 season. He spent years as one of the NFL's best kickers during his time with the New England Patriots, and he made over 90 percent of his field goals in four of six seasons from 2013 to 2018. He should be available at a discount after his 2019 injury, and that can put him firmly on the Rams' radar.
