Kenyan Drake Injury Update Solidifies Terrific Week 1 Fantasy Outlook

There was some room for concern for fantasy football players who drafted Kenyan Drake late in August when he was spotted in a walking boot.
Fear not, however, because Drake is not even on the Arizona Cardinals' injury report in Week 1. He's fully healthy, and that means his fantasy outlook is very strong.

A matchup with the San Francisco 49ers' stout defense is certainly not ideal, but it's nowhere near enough to make it worth even considering benching Drake.
Drake faced the 49ers twice after joining the Arizona Cardinals last season, seeing 19 opportunities (15 carries and 4 targets) in Week 9 and 23 opportunities (16 carries and 7 targets) in Week 11. That workload translated to 28.2 and 14.0 PPR fantasy points in those two contests.
Locked in for RB1 volume in both the rushing and receiving game, Drake is poised to be all but matchup-proof in the 2020 season.
