With Kevin Durant expected to miss the entire 2019-20 NBA season recovering from his Achilles tendon injury, Kawhi Leonard is arguably the best free agent available on this summer's loaded market.

While there have long been rumors of his attraction to playing close to home in Los Angeles for the LA Clippers, after the Los Angeles Lakers did the work to free up another max salary spot this week, they have also emerged as a possible candidate for the 28-year-old forward.

As soon as Lakers' fans got word that Kawhi would indeed grant them a meeting in free agency, the city began to buzz, especially the fans of the Purple and Gold.

Instead of posting a billboard to entice Kawhi, like the Clippers recently did, Lakers' fans decided to paint a mural of Kawhi holding the Larry O'Brien Trophy in a Lakers' uniform.

There was a similar one painted for LeBron James last summer, but that was after he arrived in LA as an official member of the team. Kawhi has simply agreed to consider the Lakers, which means we could be far from a done deal here.

Whether or not Kawhi decides to sign with the Lakers, you have to respect the hustle and talent of this fan and artist for getting it done ahead of free agency.
