The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions. And last February when the team won, the city held a massive parade. Fast forward 11 months, and the world is a different place. With the pandemic preventing large gatherings, regardless of who wins the Super Bowl, a parade in the traditional sense won't be happening.

The Kansas City mayor might seem like he's jumping the gun, but getting creative during any celebration is what's required these days. While the Chiefs are just one of four teams remaining in the NFL Playoffs, they are currently the favorites (+190) in FanDuel Sportsbook's odds to win the Super Bowl, as they have been for much of the year.

Chiefs fans better just hope the mayor isn't just jinxing their beloved team with this premature celebration talk. Step one is getting Patrick Mahomes healthy, step two is beating the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship, a game in which Kansas City is a 3-point home favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL Playoff odds.
