All of the momentum the Chicago Bears built in a Week 1 win disappeared as they fell to the Green Bay Packers by a score of 27-10 on Sunday Night Football in Week 2. To make matters worse, quarterback Justin Fields finds himself in hot water with the fan base after his comments in the post-game presser missed the mark.

There was one comment in particular that is rubbing Bears fans the wrong way. Fields expressed that "it hurts more in the locker room than for Bears fans. I mean, at the end of the day, they’re not putting in any work.” Discrediting what the fans provide to the organization isn't a smart move by any means.
Fields wouldn't be able to play the sport he loves without fans attending games, buying merchandise and tuning in from home. It's what drives the NFL and fans want to support a quarterback that shows the same level of support in return.
In his defense, Fields is still young and only in his second NFL season, so he doesn't have a ton of experience facing adversity at this level yet. The 23-year-old gave an honest answer during a time in which he was majorly frustrated, but he could've avoided the subject entirely.
Texans vs Bears Week 3 Odds
Through two games this season, Fields is 15-of-28 for passing 191 yards with 2 passing touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He's also added 48 yards and 1 touchdown on the ground.
Based on his comments, the Ohio State product might hear some boos when the Bears take on the Houston Texans at home in Week 3. Chicago is currently favored by 2.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
