Julio Jones Injury Update Clouds Week 3 Fantasy Value
By Max Staley

Julio Jones was a surprising mid-week addition to the Atlanta Falcons' injury report. He missed practice on Wednesday, and that calls his availability for Week 3 into question. This is a situation fantasy managers will need to monitor throughout the week.
If Jones does miss time, though, both Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage would get a significant boost in value for this week's matchup against the Chicago Bears.
#Falcons WR Julio Jones, who aggravated a hamstring injury Sunday, did not practice today. Something to watch...

Calvin Ridley Fantasy Football Outlook
Ridley has been an absolute beast so far this season. He's the WR1 in fantasy thus far, scoring 63.8 points in PPR formats. For reference, DeAndre Hopkins is the WR2 and he's at 49.9 PPR points. Ridley doesn't exactly have much room to improve.
But Jones is averaging 8.0 targets per game, so if he's out it's fair to expect a few of those looks to go Ridley's way in Week 3.
Russell Gage Fantasy Football Outlook
Gage has been one of the surprises of the year so far. His 21 targets are the ninth-most in the league thus far. That has helped make him the WR11 in fantasy, averaging 80.0 receiving yards per game.
Like Ridley, it's fair to expect an uptick in volume if Jones is sidelined in Week 3. Hayden Hurst could see a decent boost as well.
