Veteran wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster has made an immediate impact for the Kansas City Chiefs. He's among the team leaders across most major receiving categories, performing just as the Chiefs hoped after signing him this offseason to help replace Tyreek Hill.
Now it turns out Smith-Schuster is making a difference off of the field in Kansas City, too.

The wide receiver hosted a charitable event in the community where he paid off the layaway bills for families at Burlington. Through his JuJu Foundation, Smith-Schuster covered nearly $10,000 in gifts and holiday essentials for those in need.
This is amazing to see from one of the Chiefs' most recognizable players. The recap video his foundation posted following the event shows how much joy he was able to spread during what can be a stressful time, easing the financial burden for families with Christmas right around the corner.
It's touching that Smith-Schuster kept this tradition going after first starting it while he was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's helped out families in Pittsburgh and his native California already, and now his new hometown has joined the list.
