The Las Vegas Raiders are already one of only seven remaining undefeated teams in the NFL thanks to a hot start to the 2021 season. The excitement took a hit when Josh Jacobs got banged up, however, and it sounds like he may not be back in time for Week 3's meeting with the Miami Dolphins.

That's obviously a bummer for fantasy football managers relying on Jacobs, but it also gives Kenyan Drake's fantasy outlook a massive boost.

Jacobs and Drake were already neck-and-neck in workload in Week 1, with Jacobs notching 12 opportunities (10 carries plus 2 targets) to Drake's 11 (6 carries plus 5 targets).

With Jacobs out in Week 2, Drake still played second fiddle in the rushing attack (7 carries to Peyton Barber's 13), but he added 5 receptions on 6 targets while his snap share exploded from 48% to 71%.

The Pittsburgh Steelers' defense is a nightmare matchup for running backs, so Drake's lack of efficiency should be forgiven. Playing over 70% of the snaps against Miami would be a much more rewarding performance.

The Dolphins got absolutely skunked by the Buffalo Bills in Week 2, giving up a combination of 108 yards and 3 touchdowns on 22 carries to Devin Singletary and Zack Moss.

Jacobs checks in at RB26 in The Duel's initial Week 3 fantasy football rankings, but Drake should replace him in that range if Jacobs can't go.
