Josh Jacobs Injury Update Boosts DeAndre Washington Fantasy Outlook as Week 16 Sleeper RB

Josh Jacobs is dealing with a lingering shoulder injury, and even though he made it through a 26-touch workload in Week 15, he's going to be back on the sidelines for a Week 16 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Just like in Week 14, this should give DeAndre Washington's fantasy outlook a huge boost.
Washington parlayed his starting job into a 63 percent snap share, 20 touches and 21.6 PPR fantasy points in his first start, and that workload included plenty of rushing work (14 carries) and receiving work (seven targets).
The Chargers' D isn't an especially tough matchup either, checking in at 19th against the pass and 23rd against the run in Football Outsiders' DVOA metrics.
DeAndre Washington the clear workhorse without Josh Jacobs (shoulder) Sunday:

* 40-of-63 snaps (63%)
* 14-of-22 backfield carries
* 7-of-10 backfield targets
* 2-of-3 carries inside 10
Getting this expanded workload in a favorable matchup, Washington checks in at RB21 in our Week 16 PPR fantasy football rankings.
