Josh Allen Gives Trey Lance Great Advice Ahead of 2021 NFL Draft
By Larry Rupp

The 2021 NFL Draft is almost here and North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance is projected to be a top-15 pick. However, he also comes with the most risk given he didn't play a lot of top-tier competition in college. His story actually relates a lot to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
Allen played at Wyoming and also didn't face the top names in college football, but has developed into one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the league. He has proven that it isn't always about who you play, but rather how you play. Allen reached out to give Lance some advice recently.

Josh Allen Advises Trey Lance
Allen explained that no matter what you do out on the field, you are always going to have haters. It is important not to let them get to you. Just go out there and play football.
"You’re always going to have doubters. I’ve heard it all before. Ignore them. Get on the field and let your game do the talking. It’s time to make some noise, Trey.
- Josh Allen
It is great to see Allen reaching out to a player that is going through a very tough process right now leading up to the start of the NFL Draft. He knows better than anyone what is is like to be underrated.
Lance impressed during his college career completing 67.0% of his passes for 2,798 yards and 28 touchdowns in 18 games. In fact, he didn't even throw a single interception. His dual-threat capabilities (1,182 rushing yards) could make him a Week 1 starter in the NFL as soon as next season.
