Often overlooked in preseason fantasy football drafts, with an average draft position (ADP) of only QB21 on, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has started the season playing extremely well for the Bills and fantasy owners alike.

Heading into Week 3, Allen has scored the ninth most fantasy points at the position, but this terrific play dates back to 2018, where he has performed as a top-3 quarterback since returning from an arm injury in Week 12.

Allen is known for having both a big arm and mobility at the quarterback position. Allen has 250-plus passing yards to go along with 20-plus rushing yards in each of his first two games in 2019, also scoring a rushing touchdown in each.

This rushing production is proving to not be a fluke. Allen has scored at least one rushing touchdown in six of his last eight games, and he has at least 20 rushing yards in all but one game.

We have seen in the past that mobile quarterbacks can offer some massive fantasy football upside. The ability for a QB to rack up fantasy points in the rushing column is huge, and it will be a big reason why Allen continues to put up solid numbers. However, in 2019 he is showing signs that he can be more than just a running quarterback, with 67 pass attempts and 507 passing yards through two games.

Already producing top-10 numbers, don't expect Allen to slow down in a terrific Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. We have him eighth among QBs in our Week 3 fantasy football rankings.
