Jordan Howard Injury Update Strengthens Miles Sanders Fantasy Outlook in Week 16 Matchup With Cowboys
By Tristan Jung

Jordan Howard has been ruled out for the Philadelphia Eagles' key game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 with an NFC East title and playoff bid on the line.
Howard has been dealing with a shoulder injury since Week 9 and will miss his sixth consecutive game, which should clarify Miles Sanders' role in both fantasy football and the Eagles' offense this Sunday.
The @Eagles plan to make RB Jordan Howard inactive vs. @dallascowboys today. Howard (shoulder nerve) has not fully recovered from his week 9 injury but there's high confidence in Miles Sanders, Boston Scott and Jay Ajayi as effective backfield.

With fantasy championships and the Eagles' playoff hopes on the line, Sanders should play a critical role in this week's game.
Miles Sanders Fantasy Outlook
The Eagles have relied Sanders heavily in every game since Howard injured his shoulder, giving him 14.0 carries per game since Week 9. Sanders has also made a significant impact in the passing game, earning five or more targets in each of the last four games. He's tallied 119 receiving yards, 18 receptions, and two touchdowns in that stretch.
In last week's game against the Washington Redskins, Sanders exploded for 29.2 PPR fantasy points. Howard's injury makes the Eagles' rookie a must-start option for Week 16. Sanders was ranked No. 23 in our Week 16 PPR fantasy football rankings and our Week 16 standard scoring rankings.

Boston Scott Fantasy Outlook Week 16
Sanders' backup Boston Scott has also played a big role in the offense in recent weeks. He's seen 13 targets in the last two games, catching all of them. Scott has significant value in PPR formats and also has upside for standard leagues.
