The Las Vegas Raiders fans have spoken, and this franchise's new future in Sin City is looking bright under head coach Jon Gruden. Well, at least according to a recent approval rating poll on reddit.com.

Jon Gruden Approval Rating 2020

Drawing from a total of 718 votes submitted on a poll posted to Reddit.com/r/raiders, an overwhelming 655 votes were cast in support of approval for Gruden, compared to only 63 cast for disapproval. That's higher than a 91 percent approval rating for Gruden. For some added perspective, that's almost as high of an approval rating as cast in support of Bill Belichick in New England (92 percent).

While there's a lot of positives going for Gruden in their new Vegas home, there's a long way to go before we see this roster competing for the AFC West title, let alone a Super Bowl. That's not to say these milestones won't come under Gruden in due time, it's just hard to see that gap being closed within two seasons.

Gruden gets his first shot to validate this overwhelming support in a Week 1 matchup against the Carolina Panthers on the road on Sept. 13, 2020, and his Raiders are already early 1-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
