The Baltimore Ravens got terrible news on Thursday as they learned that wide receiver Rashod Bateman will undergo season-ending foot surgery.
Head coach John Harbaugh did have some positive news to report, however, as it sounds like a veteran wideout could be ready to make his Ravens debut.
DeSean Jackson News
According to Harbaugh, DeSean Jackson is "probably ready" to make his season debut on Monday against the New Orleans Saints.
Jackson, 35, signed with Baltimore on October 18. He's been practicing with the team over the last few weeks to learn the offense and get into game shape, but now Harbaugh believes he's ready.
The three-time Pro Bowler will be pressed into action on Monday Night Football in New Orleans. Given the depleted state of the Ravens' receiving corps, the team is counting on him to make an immediate impact.
Even without Bateman, Baltimore is still listed as a 2.5-point road favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
