There's no question that the Cincinnati Bengals have been the cinderella story of the 2021-22 NFL Playoffs. Entering the postseason with just +1700 odds to win Super Bowl 56, Joe Burrow and co. rattled off three straight wins to secure a date with the Los Angeles Rams in the big game.

Burrow is getting tired of the underdog narrative, and had the perfect response when asked about this following an upset victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. It was truly a mic drop moment.

Bengals Super Bowl

Burrow was asked if this Chiefs win proved the Bengals aren't underdogs any longer, and he responded simply, "Uh yeah. I think we beat the second-best team in the AFC. Twice."

The Bengals can proudly call themselves the best AFC team after winning the conference championship and advancing to the team's first Super Bowl appearance since 1988.

Burrow's comments refer not only to Cincinnati's AFC Conference Championship win, but the same feat his team accomplished back in Week 17 with a 34-31 victory. The Bengals entered those matchups as 7-point and 5.5-point underdogs, respectively.

Now, Burrow and his squad must battle that underdog narrative once more to win the first Super Bowl title in franchise history. The Bengals are listed as early 4-point underdogs against the Rams in Super Bowl LVI, according to betting odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
