Joe Burrow has put the league on notice in his second season. The former No. 1 overall pick bounced back from the knee injury he suffered as a rookie in a major way, leading his team to the Super Bowl in year two.

And the odds at FanDuel Sportsbook suggest he could end his breakout season with the Super Bowl LVI MVP award.

Joe Burrow Super Bowl MVP Odds

Burrow owns the second-best odds to win Super Bowl MVP at +230. He only trails Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford (+125), and he has a huge lead over the next-closest Bengal in Ja'Marr Chase (+2500).

It's no surprise to see Burrow boasting top-two odds. Four QBs have taken home Super Bowl MVP honors in the last five seasons, and the position has won the award 31 times in 55 games.

The Bengals QB stepping up time and time again is what's led this team to the championship in the first place. He averaged 288.2 yards and 2.1 passing touchdowns per game in the regular season while throwing 14 interceptions across 16 starts. Burrow also led the league with a 70.4% completion percentage in 2021.

He's kept it rolling in the postseason, throwing for 842 yards, 4 TDs and 2 INTs in three playoff games so far. The bevy of options he has at wide receiver, from Chase to Tee Higgins to Tyler Boyd, gives Burrow the potential for a huge game every outing.

The biggest factor that could make or break the QB on the big stage is how his offensive line holds up against the Rams. Tennessee generated tons of pressure and recorded 9 sacks on Burrow in the Divisional Round, which turned out to be his most underwhelming statistical game this postseason (348 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT).

A performance like that likely won't get the job done in what's expected to be a high-scoring affair. As long as the Bengals' O-Line can keep Burrow upright, though, he'll have plenty of chances to connect for big plays with his receivers.
