Jets Odds to Go 0-16 Are Fairly Enticing

The New York Jets are the worst team in the NFL. Few people, if any, can dispute that at this point in the season, and the Jets' record backs up that notion. As the only remaining winless team in the league, the Jets sit in last place of the AFC East at 0-7.

The Jets currently rank No. 25 in the NFL in points allowed per game (29.0) and are dead last by a wide margin in points scored per game (12.1).

While the last team to go winless was the 2016 Cleveland Browns, the odds for the 0-7 Jets to go winless in their last nine games aren't as crazy as you might think.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jets have +290 odds to finish the season 0-16. And looking at how the Jets have looked so far, those odds might be enticing to some.

Taking a look at the Jets' remaining schedule, they only have three games remaining against teams that are currently under .500. Two against the Patriots and one against the Los Angeles Chargers. New York will be the road team in two of those three games.

So while it might seem like a long shot that any team goes 0-16, judging by how this Jets team has looked so far, the the schedule that remains in front of them, it might not be as crazy as you think.
