Wide receiver Jarvis Landry is nowhere near as flashy of a name in fantasy football as he used to be. He is a bit of a forgotten player heading into the fall and can be taken very late in many drafts. That is a cheap price to pay for someone that should be a consistent FLEX option in 2021.

Landry does not exactly find himself in a situation in which a wide receiver can thrive. He is stuck on an offense built for running the football as the Cleveland Browns owned the fourth-highest rush play percentage in 2020 (47.78%) and averaged the fifth-most rush attempts per game (30.4).

However, that hasn't stopped Landry from producing in the past. The eighth-year pro has posted at least 850 yards from scrimmage and 4 touchdowns in each of the last six seasons. His ability to stay healthy is an underrated part of his game as he has missed just one game due to injury in his career.

Many fantasy managers look at the return of Odell Beckham Jr. as a knock to Landry's target share. That may not be the case given Landry totaled 138 targets compared to Beckham's 133 during their one full season together in 2019. He is locked in as quarterback Baker Mayfield's go-to slot receiver.

While Landry's upside is capped in a number of ways, the consistency he brings to the table makes him a perfect FLEX option week in and week out. Overall, the 28-year-old playmaker has finished as a WR3 (No. 36 or higher) in every season of his career in PPR formats.

Landry's average draft position is No. 99 overall and No. 40 amongst WRs in PPR leagues, according to FantasyPros. He remains a solid FLEX options for fantasy managers looking to go running back heavy early on in drafts. Landry could approach WR3 numbers once again by the end of the season.
