Jameis Winston Fantasy Outlook Soars Following Drew Brees Injury Update

Drew Brees went down with an injury in the New Orleans Saints' Week 10 win over the San Francisco 49ers, and Monday's update is not a good one. Brees is dealing with a scary array of injuries now, and it's hard to imagine this doesn't cost him some time.
More from @WerderEdESPN: Drew Brees is suffering from three fractured ribs on his left side and two on the right, possibly more. Doctors have cautioned Brees to be especially careful with the damage to his lung. https://t.co/6Ps1pPOfek

Jameis Winston Fantasy Value
That instantly sends Jameis Winston's fantasy football outlook through the roof.
Winston steps into an offense that features MVP candidate Alvin Kamara and 2019 NFL reception leader Michael Thomas. A clearly past-his-prime Brees wasn't an every-week fantasy starter in this offense, but he did check in at 17th in fantasy points per game across the first nine weeks of the season.
We've only seen Winston throw 11 passes with the Saints, but so far in his career he's shown that he can be a capable fantasy producer. That included throwing for over 5,000 yards with 33 touchdowns in 2019.
The Saints probably won't let him sling it the way Bruce Arians and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did, but Winston should be more than capable of producing with this strong supporting cast.
This news makes Winston a top fantasy football waiver wire add for Week 11.
