Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson picked up a heel injury in Week 8 that has bothered him all week. He logged several DNPs in the lead up to Week 9, and earned a questionable tag ahead of Sunday.

The latest on the RB is terrible news for the Jags.

James Robinson Injury Update

Robinson has officially been ruled out, which is a blow to a Jacksonville offense already without Travis Etinne as well.

The second-year pro has shouldered the load for the Jaguars after Etienne's preseason injury. Robinson has racked up 482 yards and 5 TDs on the ground, plus 18 catches for 133 yards.

Robinson's dual-threat abilities will be missed on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo's defense is holding opponents to the fewest total yards per game at just 269.0.

Urban Meyer's team now must lean on Carlos Hyde and Dare Ogunbowale in the backfield. The Jaguars are 14.5-point home underdogs ahead of kickoff, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
