Jabrill Peppers Trolls the Eagles Draft Class

The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles will long be considered foes as fierce NFC East divisional rivals. Giants safety Jabrill Peppers just added some fuel to that fire as he took to Instagram to troll the Eagles' 2021 draft class on Monday.

Peppers' Instagram story pokes fun at the serious demeanor of DeVonta Smith, the Eagles first-round selection, on draft day. He compares Smith's seemingly unhappy look to Kadarius Toney, the Giants first-round selection, who is all smiles.
Both NFC East franchises opted to surround their young quarterbacks with talented playmakers during the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft as both drafted standout collegiate wide receivers. Smith had a much more productive collegiate career, however, racking up close to 4,000 yards and 46 touchdowns in four years at Alabama. In comparison, Toney recorded 1,590 yards and 12 receiving touchdowns in four years at Florida.
Peppers will be tasked with the job of containing Smith in this NFC East matchup. He's recorded four interceptions and 205 solo tackles during his four-year run in the NFL.
Peppers and the Giants may have the last laugh as FanDuel Sportsbook's NFC East odds ranks New York with the third-best shot at the division crown (+400). Philadelphia ranks fourth with just +550 odds.
