The 2021-22 NBA season is now in full swing and that means it's time for fantasy managers to take a deeper look at their roster. Of course, it's never too early to start making some trades.

Here are the best buy-low, sell-high candidates to target in trades this week.

Fantasy Basketball Trade Targets

1. Buy: Mo Bamba, C, Orlando Magic

There was a lot of offseason hype surrounding Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba and the fourth-year pro has been living up to it so far. Bamba has finally taken on a true starting role in the NBA averaging 30.5 minutes played per game. The big man is a statistical menace averaging 11.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.2 blocks while shooting an efficient 47.5% from the field. His versatility makes him a great player to target in trade negotiations and his usage rate should only increase as the season rolls on. Trade for Bamba now before his asking price becomes too high.

2. Sell: Montrezl Harrell, C, Washington Wizards

Montrezl Harrell is a perfect sell-high candidate for a number of reasons. The seventh-year pro has started just 2 of his 12 games played this season despite averaging 18.2 points and 9.0 rebounds on a nightly basis. That is because he will not play a major role on this team when Daniel Gafford and Thomas Bryant return from injury. The logjam that will soon be created in Washington is not good news for Harrell from a fantasy perspective and he will likely see a decrease in minutes. After all, the 27-year-old's usage rate of 21.0 currently ranks sixth on the team. Trade Harrell while his value is still at an all-time high.

3. Buy: Tyrese Maxey, SG, Philadelphia 76ers

The situation surrounding Ben Simmons has not been getting much better in Philadelphia, but it has led to a breakout season from second-year pro Tyrese Maxey. In fact, the former Kentucky standout was recently named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 29.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists over his last three games played. Maxey continues to have the ball in his hands on almost every possession and it has become clear that head coach Doc Rivers trusts him to guide the offense. Overall, Maxey is logging over 36 minutes per night and shooting over 50% from the field. Grab him before it's too late.
